AIC Kijabe Hospital was established in 1915 as a small outpatient clinic on the grounds of the Rift Valley Academy, originally called Theodora Hospital and later renamed AIC Kijabe Hospital. The Hospital is a religious hospital sponsored by Africa Inland Church (AIC) Kenya.

AIC Kijabe Hospital

It is the largest of the 5 hospitals sponsored by the Africa Inland Church. The hospital’s mission is to “glorify God through the compassionate provision of medical care, education and ministry in Christ Jesus. It has nine operating rooms, modern intensive care units, dentistry and laboratory/pathology .

The AIDS Service Unit provides free HIV/AIDS outpatient care and two satellite clinics .AIC Kijabe Naivasha Medical Center and AIC Marira Clinic) for qualified patients.

Maternity Services

Normal delivery is KES 15000-20000 and NHIF covers KES 10,000.

C-Section is KES 50,000-60,000 and NHIF covers KES 30,000.

Kijabe Hospital Consultation Fees

For a fist time patient visit, consultation fee is Ksh. 700.

When you are a returning patient, the consultation fee per single visit is Ksh. 1000.

The Kenyatta National Hospital is the oldest hospital in Kenya. It is a tertiary public reference hospital of the  Ministry of Health It is also the teaching hospital of the University of Nairobi College of Health Sciences. It is the second largest hospital in the country and also in East Africa.
